Quests turn practice into direction
Quests give your next attempt a purpose. Some ask you to complete rooms, some reward enemy defeats, some point you toward equipment, and some ask for boss progress.
Use quests as gentle direction, not as pressure to ignore the room. A quest is useful when it helps you choose what to practice next.
Unlocks should feel like doors opening
Early progress in Mystic Forest opens important help, including shrine support and later roster or world progress. Boss wins are especially important because they can change what is available next.
If you feel stuck, check whether your next goal is a room milestone, a boss clear, a gear improvement, or a hero unlock. The game usually gives you more than one way to make the next attempt better.
Do not chase every goal at once
Trying to finish every quest in one run makes the game feel scattered. Pick one main goal: survive deeper, clear a boss, upgrade a piece of gear, or test a hero build.
When the run ends, decide whether that goal got easier. If it did, keep going. If it did not, shift your next attempt toward the weakness that stopped you.
